Yesterday, I posted a project using a canvas board that's part of a bulk buy opportunity, and the project I'm posting today--a quad microscope slide mailer--is another bulk buy item, as are the slides. When I received these items, I knew immediately that I wanted to use Stampin' Up!'s "Storytime"
designer paper to create a teacher-themed project. Of course, I had my sister in mind as I was working on this. She works full-time as an assistant in a Kindergarten classroom, but she's also a full-time student working toward her teaching degree. She is the epitome of an excellent teacher and has always been so good with children, and I thought the poem that I found on the 'net was quite descriptive of her. Other Stampin' Up! products used to create this project include the "Measuring Stick" builder wheel (which I converted to a clear-mount stamp), "Fabulous Phrases" stamp set, Jewelry Tag punch, glimmer brads, scallop dotted ribbon, and satin pleated ribbon. After adhering the paper to the mailer, I used a Sponge Dauber and Soft Suede ink to distress the edges. If you'd like to know how to purchase any of the bulk buy products, let me know!
